Continuing Education for teachers

We bet on our teaching staff

The most important asset in a school is the teachers. They are in charge of the cognitive, academic,  and social/emotional development of the student.

That is why continuing education is so important in a school. It ensures that teachers are learning “best practices” and keeping current with the latest research and data driven strategies.

The training of teachers addresses specific topics of academic and technology integration. Ongoing training also touches upon the development of the whole child-such as emotional or social development.

At the Lighthouse American School, training in innovation and creativity are also an important part of our teachers’ professional development.

  • With traditional education students' motivation can decrease every year with compulsory subjects and the emphasis on memorization.
